After I Do

Finished After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Lauren and Ryan have decided to take a break. They don’t want to get divorced, necessarily, but spending time apart is the best way they can think to save their marriage. This book is that year.

I feel like every actively literate friend I have has loved Taylor Jenkins Reid for years. And I totally get it. This is only the second book of hers I’ve read but both have been absolutely phenomenal.

This book isn’t really the story of a marriage. We only see Ryan through Lauren’s eyes, so he basically starts out annoying and then we start to see his good side. We understand why she fell in love with him and why their marriage is worth fighting for.

I love everything about this book. Highly recommended.
