So Jen posted about movies recently and one of the things she said was preferring movies like Pollyanna and The Sound of Music to Oscar movies (ETA: This is more of a content thing than a quality thing and, to be fair, I am more likely to watch a Judd Apatow movie than I am, say, Schindler’s List). And I did a big huge response (most of which ended up deleted, ’cause I figured I’d blog about it here, which I did) and I went on imdb.com and was sort of amazed at all the wonderful, amazing movies I’ve seen that have won Oscars.
And then I thought, well, I haven’t seen all of them. I haven’t seen most of them, and many of the ones I have seen, I haven’t seen in years.
And THEN I thought, I bet it’d be a lot of fun to watch them all.
(This will take a long time, understand, because I’m still reading a lot and because I have some Mad Men and Battlestar Galactica to get through.)
But, in random order, I hope to get through*: (25/88)
