Thank you for wanting to send me your book/books. Before you do, here are some things you should probably know.
What I read: General and genre (chick lit and mysteries/thrillers/suspense) fiction, YA (dystopian, paranormal and contemporary), middle grade fiction, picture books (I have a niece now!), quirky memoirs/nonfiction (AJ Jacobs, for example), Christian fiction (historical and contemporary).
What I do not read: Romance novels, short story collections (for the most part), political books, erotica, science fiction, most types of nonfiction.
There are exceptions, so when in doubt, ask. You can reach me at kellyhager1234@comcast.net. I check email often and will get back to you as quickly as I can.
I read a great deal, and I will do my best to get to your book/books in a timely fashion. I try and read books well before their publication dates, and then set my blog posts to go live on the release dates or no sooner than a week before. If it’s a book I particularly love, I will discuss it on Twitter and Facebook and mention it in posts before the release date. If you have a preference for when the post appears, let me know. I give priority to upcoming releases and will get to the books that are already out as soon as I can.
I don’t guarantee reviews for unsolicited books.
I do not sell ARCs, but reserve the right to do blog giveaways from time to time (they’re rare but they do happen). If you would rather not have an unfinished copy given away, please let me know. I also share ARCs with other bloggers. If you would prefer I not do that, please let me know.
In addition to my blog, I post reviews on goodreads.com.
Sending me a free book does not guarantee a good review (or a review at all). I don’t like giving negative reviews, but I prefer that rather than misleading my site’s visitors about books. If I absolutely can’t get into a book, I reserve the right to not finish it (even if it’s a book I requested).
Reviews will have a link to Amazon.com (through the book’s title), as well as a link to the publisher’s website (if it’s a book I received from the publisher) and the author’s website.
I am on Goodreads. Feel free to follow me on Twitter or friend me on Facebook.
