Young Frankenstein is one of the AFI’s 100 funniest movies ever. It’s also my second favorite Mel Brooks movie (behind The Producers).
I absolutely love this movie, and I quote it on a fairly regular basis. I’m a huge Gene Wilder fan, but Marty Feldman absolutely makes this movie.
(“It’s pronounced eye-gore.”)
But as much as I love all things Igor, my absolute favorite thing about this movie is the Puttin’ on the Ritz scene. (I know, me and everyone else.)
But I will watch that movie and laugh hysterically the whole way through and, if whomever I’m watching it with will let me, I will watch it over and over.
I actually watched this with my aunt and uncle while I was on vacation and I don’t think they liked it anywhere near as much as I did. But that’s okay; I love it enough for everyone.
