Welcome to the latest Things I’m Obsessed With!
First, it’s HALLOWEEN! Today is my absolute favorite holiday, because it deals with two of my favorite things: scary movies and candy. If they could throw books and sleep in there somehow, it would become my favorite day of the year.
Second, I’m writing this on Sunday, October 27. Hurricane Sandy is about to make my life completely miserable, but by the time this gets published, the worst should be well over and Maryland should be beginning to dry out. So while I am dreading the next few days, by the time you read this, I will have survived and will be only a few hours away from my weekend.
(My weekend plans involve sleep and wine. And if I have cable, I plan to watch all the TV I’ll have missed while living at the station.)

How did you survive Sandy? Hope all is well with you and Sam.
We dodged a major bullet! A few Maryland communities were hit pretty hard but Baltimore was pretty unscathed and even the ones that WERE damaged weren’t on the level of NY and NJ.

heh, I am almost too embarrassed to say this…but for some reason I thought you were in New Jersey. I mean, I know you are in Baltimore…but my wild internal geography had Baltimore in New Jersey. LOL!!
Oh well…I’m still trying to figure out how I got lost on my way home from a substitute teacher job. Even when I am looking at the map I still can’t seem to wrap my head around how I got to where I was when I finally found my way to a place that I could say with some semblance of certainty. heh….
My sense of direction sucks, too! :) So no judgment from me.
