I’ve heard that if you ask most Elm Street fans what their favorite sequel is, they’ll say #3. This one’s my favorite.
There are a ton of references to the first one (not surprising, given that Heather Langenkamp, John Saxon and obviously Robert Englund are in it).
What I love most, though, is the story. I love the idea that movies can become reality. :) Obviously, I’d prefer Sabrina to become real than, say, Freddy Krueger, but I’ll take whatever I can get.
It’s also nice to see Miko Hughes, who was in Pet Sematary. And some other Elm Street people make cameos.
But I also love that Wes Craven and Robert Englund play themselves. I’ve seen them in interviews (and the documentaries Never Sleep Again and I Am Nancy) and they are onviously intelligent and thoughtful people.
