I absolutely love Jill Schoelen horror movies. I was able to snag a copy at the scary movie con; it’s out of print.
This one is about a group of film students who hold an all-night horror fest to raise money. One of them has been writing a script based on weird dreams she’s been having. Except it’s not a dream; it’s a memory from her childhood. Her dad killed her mom and tried to kill her. Now he’s hoping to finish the job.
I hadn’t seen this since I rented it in the early 90s and it’s still an incredibly fun movie. I think The Stepfather is still my favorite of hers, though…followed closely by When a Stranger Calls Back.
This movie also has Dee Wallace in it.
