I read a review that said this is one of those movies—absolutely terrifying—that is guaranteed to mess you up. And since I hadn’t seen a REALLY scary movie in ages, I was like, “YES.”
V/H/S is an anthology-style horror film. A group of guys are hired to find a specific tape in a house. When they arrive, they find a stack of VHS tapes—and a body.
When they watch the tapes, they see a series of snuff-style films. (Some are more realistic than others and the videos get increasingly disturbing.)
I wasn’t messed up after (although I guess the proof will be in whether I can sleep) and they weren’t terrifying although the last two vignettes especially were creepy as all hell, and the Skype one literally made me almost scream.
I definitely want to hear from others who watched it. It’s just an ultra-graphic movie. And very weird.
