Ghostbusters is one of the AFI’s 100 Years, 100 Laughs selections.
I’m going to assume that everyone’s seen it. (If not, change that. Now.)
I’ve seen this movie probably at least 10 times or so, but I haven’t seen it in years. I mention that because while I remembered that it was funny (as, naturally, a movie with Bill Murray is pretty much guaranteed to be), I had forgotten just HOW funny.
There are reports that a third Ghostbusters will be coming out sometime soon-ish (I think they’re working on the script now?) and that makes me very happy.
Is it the most “quotable” comedy? Maybe.
Princess Bride. :)
