The West Wing

The West Wing is one of the AFI’s best shows for 2001, 2002 and 2006.

Episode watched: Pilot.

Seen before?  No.

Would I keep watching? Absolutely.

This reminds me of The American President (one of my absolute favorite movies) and it’s not surprising to learn that Aaron Sorkin is involved in both.

The show deals with the presidency of Jed Bartlett, although he’s not very prominent in the pilot.  The cast in this is amazing (although it’s currently hard for me to see Rob Lowe and not think of Chris, his character on Parks & Recreation).  I absolutely plan to keep watching this show and hope to get the first season for my birthday.  (I am currently on a buying hiatus since it’s so close.)

This is such a cool show.  I can’t wait to see where it goes and especially see more of the president.

Yay! The cast on The West Wing is amazing. I especially love Emily Procter’s character in Season 2. I have the 1st five seasons. Two more to get, but they can wait. (I need some Buffy first)

You might want to check out the series going on over at Vulture.com (http://www.vulture.com/2012/03/the-best-tv-drama-of-the-last-25-years.html) about the Best Dramas of the Last 25 years. Really good analyses.
