13 Little Blue Envelopes

Posted by: Kelly on: April 3, 2011

Finished 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson.

Ginny has just received a package in the mail from her aunt.  It contains 13 blue envelopes, a letter and enough money to get to the airport.  Her aunt wants her to go to Europe and complete 13 tasks.  There are rules she must follow and the challenges get increasingly difficult.  I don’t want to say too much, because this book is so fun and I don’t want to steal any of the joy of discovering what’s going to happen for yourself.

This is the first book of Maureen Johnson’s I’ve read and it won’t be the last.  I have the sequel (due out this month) from Netgalley and I’ve turned a gift card into most of her backlist.

I wish someone would fund an adventure like this for me.  And if you haven’t already read this, I wish you’d remedy that.
